riflescope covers were developed to conquer scope problems in the unbelievably wet hunting conditions of southwest Alaska.
Never-ending rain, fog and wind meant that scope lenses needed to be covered right up to the instant of the shot. This in
turn meant that the cover needed to be instantly removable without distracting the hunter from the target, and must be retained
on the rifle without effort or attention. ScopeShieldtm does all this and more.

ScopeShieldtm covers are made of stretchable neoprene, to snugly
cover the entire rifle scope. The keeper loop(PatPending) insures
that the ScopeShieldtm cannot fall away from the rifle, distracting the shooter or losing the cover. ScopeShieldstm are placed over the muzzle end of the scope and stretched rearward
over the tube. Pulling the rear finger tab back while lifting,
then releasing, causes the cover to "slingshot" forward. Most
riflemen can soon instantly release the cover without even looking away from the target. Unlike many flip-up lens covers, ScopeShieldstm do not inadvertantly come off, pop open in the brush,
and there are no parts to break or lose on the trail. The smooth
neoprene cover glides effortlessly into or out of rifle scabbards without hangups. Custom printed ScopeShieldstm are printed, single color, on the right side.

For the best fit, round the length of your scope to the nearest inch, ie, a 10.5 inch tube rounds to 11.
Subtract 1 inch for stretch and you should purchase model SS10. Sizing Note: If the
actual scope tube length is not known, it is suggested that by far the highest percentage of scopes will be fit by the selection
of the 12-inch tube length, the "standard" model SS11. These covers will fit most hunting scopes with tube
lengths from 10 1/2 to 13 inches.
